Online groups?

We are looking to run online psychoeducation and emotion regulation skills groups in the near future.

The groups will cater for no more than 6 participants at a time and include:

  • An individual assessment session and introduction with group facilitator (60-90 mins).
  • 10 weeks of learning emotion and interpersonal regulation skills (2 hours with 10 min break).
  • Then a final individual session with a group facilitator who will explore what you have learned, any difficulties and onward options from there (60 mins).
  • There will be an option for an individual session with the group facilitator midway at an additional charge.

What is benefit of group?

The benefits of running this sort of training in smaller groups is that is provides you with the additional benefit of peer support and allows us to reach more people at once so helps to keep the cost down and pass on those savings you.

What is involved?

You will first receive a workbook and a link to the free app. The sessions will then guide you through each session of the workbook, give space to ask any questions and a chance to experience or see the skill that week in action. There is weekly homework which is compulsory in order for you to benefit from the course. If you do not engage with the homework then you are not receiving the treatment from phase of therapy.

If you feel you would be better suited to a recorded version of this training and following the workbook weekly with 3 check in points with a facilitator then please let us know. It would be good to understand what you feel works better for you.

Who are the facilitators?

Our group facilitators are all qualified and trained trauma therapists that have had specific training in this phase of treatment and specifically emotion regulation.

If this is something you feel you are able to commit to and would be interested in finding out more then please let us know by registering your interest using the form below.

We look forward to hearing from you
